Special Olympics Michigan - High 5ive - The Drew Stanton Foundation

Special Olympics Michigan

Special Olympics is a global nonprofit organization targeting the nearly 200 million people around the world who have intellectual disabilities. High 5ive continues to help Special Olympics Michigan athletes achieve their dreams by donating funds to help cover equipment, training and competition costs for their winter programs. This includes major sponsorship of the SOMI Annual Winter Games. We also sponsor Michigan delegations to help cover equipment, training and competition costs for winter sports programs. High 5ive also supports Special Olympics Michigan with ongoing projects and emergency funding needs throughout the year.

Drew & Kristin Stanton were named the 2015 recipients of the Special Olympics Michigan (SOMI) Joe Falls Award.

The Joe Falls Award is an annual award established to recognize an individual(s) involved with Special Olympics Michigan who has had a historic and dramatic impact on the program. This recipient(s) also represents the spirit and ideals of Special Olympics and Joe Falls through their dedication, inspiration and determination. Shown below, are Drew’s parents, Gaylord & Chris Stanton, accepting the award.
